Our Core Fixed Income strategy returned 3.50% versus the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. Aggregate Bond Index return of 3.08% in the second quarter. In pursuing this strategy, WCM invests in all major investment grade sectors of the bond market including U.S. government securities, corporate bonds, municipal bonds, mortgage-backed securities and other structured securities.

• 5-Star Category – The Core Fixed Income strategy was awarded a Top Gun 5-Star Rating, meaning our Core strategy had an r-squared of 0.80 or greater relative to the style benchmark for the recent five-year period. Products must also have returns greater than the style benchmark for the three latest three-year rolling periods and a standard deviation for the fiveyear period equal or less than the median standard deviation for the peer group. Of these, the top ten returns for the latest three-year period are award 5-Star Top Guns.

Ultra-Short Fixed Income

Our Ultra-Short strategy invests primarily in corporate and municipal bonds and has a duration of approximately 1.15 years and a weighted average yield-to-worst of 2.71%. In pursuing this strategy, WCM invests in investment grade corporate bonds, municipal bonds, asset-backed securities, mortgagebacked securities, and high yield bonds.
