POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Marketing & Client Service Associate at Winthrop Capital Management is designed for individuals with an interest in marketing, data analysis, client service and business administration. The position requires someone who is exceptionally organized, follows through on tasks to completion and has excellent verbal and written communication skills. The successful candidate has a positive mindset, an entrepreneurial attitude, strong organization skills, team-oriented and takes direction well. Winthrop Capital Management looks for individuals who hold themselves accountable, have the desire to continually learn, provide and receive direct feedback, and are motivated to solve complex problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand, support and exemplify the Winthrop Capital Management Core Values.
• Support Client Service & Marketing function with administrative tasks, such as generating reports, assisting with mailings and maintaining CRM database.
• Assist with scheduling and preparing for client and prospective client meetings.
• Assist with the review of investment data, such as tear sheets and various client reports.
• Conduct research for marketing purposes.
• Track custodian alerts and assist team in follow-through.
• Assist in putting together client and sales presentation books.
• Filing and maintaining client paperwork in addition to other various administrative tasks as needed.
• Full internal support for our Marketing & Client Service teams.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ideally 2+ years of relevant experience
• Prior administrative, marketing or client service experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Computer skills – must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe
• Problem-solving, research and resolution skills
