Winthrop Capital Management constructs municipal bond portfolios that are managed to each client’s objectives, income needs, time horizon, risk tolerance and state of residence.
The Core Fixed Income strategy seeks to outperform the Barclays Capital U.S. Aggregate Bond Index by focusing on investments in high quality securities, managing portfolio risk and maintaining a controlled duration discipline.
The Intermediate Fixed Income strategy seeks to outperform the Barclays U.S. Government/Credit 1-5 Yr Index by focusing on investments in high quality securities, managing portfolio risk and maintaining a controlled duration discipline.
The Short Duration High Yield strategy invests largely in securities that are rated below Baa3/BBB- with the goal of exceeding the Barclay’s Capital U.S. High Yield 1-5 Year over long time frames. This strategy generally invests in high yield securities that have maturities less than five years.
The Tactical Income strategy implements a holistic approach to fixed income management. By tactically allocating across a broad range of fixed income sectors, this strategy attempts to earn a high income oriented return with a moderate level of risk.
The Ultra-Short Fixed Income strategy offers a higher current yield alternative to short-term investments such as traditional money market funds.
